Crafting Memories at Summer camp
As the summer rapidly approaches, many students are looking for summer employment. World of Discovery Day Camp has been a fixture in Queens for over 30 years and we are looking for hard-working and dedicated high school and college students to become counselors for our campers. Must be a minimum of 16 years of age before first day of camp.

The following are just some of the traits that make up a successful counselor at World of Discovery Day Camp:
Minimum 16 years of age at the start of camp
The ability to work well with children ages 4-15.
The belief in youself that you can make a positive difference in a child’s life.
The ability to improve self-esteem, encourage cooperation, inspire courage, exhibit responsibility and have FUN!
The ability to work well and cooperate with others in a positive work environment.
A love of the outdoors and engaging in new experiences.
The ability to show initiative, take responsibility and lead others.
Creativity, patience, kindness, cooperation and positive spirit.
Striving to become a positive role model.
