World of Discovery Summer Day Camp of Bayside, Queens NY has been providing high quality summer camp activities for children from ages 4-15 for nearly 30 years.  World of Discovery Summer Camp offers much more than most child day care centers provide.  Day care centers can be a smart option for children ages 3 and under.  But if you feel that your child is ready for an exciting summer camp experience filled with activities such as swimming, sports and field trips – then World of Discovery Day Camp of Bayside, Queens NY may be just the right place for your child.  Many Forest Hills Queens, NY parents send their 4 year old children to day care centers during the regular school year from September to June.  But, during the summer months of July and August, parents generally feel that their 4 year old boys and girls need a break from their everyday routines.  Parents often consider sending their children to a summer camp like their older siblings attend.  World of Discovery Summer Camp offers children the perfect break from their regular routines that they need.

At our summer camp program, campers have the opportunity to take advantage of swimming lessons several times per week.  Our American Red Cross certified lifeguards led by our WSI Certified Aquatics Director individually test each child and instruct campers according to their strengths and weaknesses.  Campers are instructed on how to become comfortable in the water in a non-threatening atmosphere.  Our exclusive swimming pool is the perfect place for young campers to get accustomed to the water and learn how to swim.  Our beautiful, private swimming pool, at a depth of just two feet, is the perfect setting to teach children how to swim.

Campers participate in 2-3 summer camp field trips each week.  Rather than spending all of their time at a day care center, campers get to visit some of the most exciting child-friendly places throughout Queens and Long Island.  Children will also have the opportunity to run and be active.  We offer a wide variety of non competitive instructional sports such as flag football, tennis, volleyball, dodgeball, baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, and much more!

Our summer camp program offers children a terrific arts and crafts program that allows campers to express their creativity.  We also offer a hands-on program that is run by NYS licensed teachers.  At World of Discovery Summer Camp we create an atmosphere where children can let their imaginations grow.

One of the most convenient features of our summer camp program is that we offer door-to-door bus service to and from your home in Forest Hills, NY or anywhere else in Queens included in your tuition.  This feature enables parents to stay home and take advantage of having their children picked up and dropped off.  Lunch is also included in the summer camp tuition.
